Team, this page serves as our official visual anchor for all published articles. It sets our formatting rules so we can maintain an absolute “A-Game” balance between an elegant reader experience and lighting-fast site performance.
NOTE FOR GenerateBlocksPro: We only want to use GBPro blocks in most cases. Please note the outline of the H (headline) and T (text). These are specific to GBPro and offer better HTML structure and more versatility for design and layout. In some cases in shows up as a “T”, but once chosen you can then chose from P or H1 etc.

This is a standard List (same as before)
- Visual Layout & Typography Blueprint
This is a Standard Paragraph:
This is a standard paragraph. The same paragraph tag as before. Using this paragraph tag means that you do NOT intend to have any styling in this paragraph beyond BOLD or Itallics. Just good old straight typing.
In this case we are putting a paragraph within a ordered bulleted list. This can be done with paragraphs or photos and then we restart the ordered list like this:
- Use your standard SEO workflows for heading placement. Headings that may require “styling” can be text (“T”) and then I can give you styles to choose from. Not a great example – but you get the idea:
Text or Subhead that needs styling
“This is a Styled Quote Block. Use this layout to highlight critical collector commentary, historical coin quotes, or high-value expert tips from Josh.” (Same as before – but use the “Citation” for the citation as it adds special markup)
“This is a Styled Quote Block. Use this layout to highlight critical collector commentary, historical coin quotes, or high-value expert tips from Josh.”
Josh
IMAGES
Image Standards & Performance Restrictions (Non-Negotiable)
To keep our database clean and prevent un-optimized images from destroying our Core Web Vitals, all uploaded coin imagery must strictly adhere to the following pipeline before and during upload:
File Format: All new images must be uploaded as .webp or compressed .jpg. Never upload raw .png, .tiff, or uncompressed smartphone camera photos.
Maximum Dimensions: No body image should exceed 1200px on its longest side.
File Size Target: Aim to keep files under 150KB per image. If an image is 1MB+, run it through a compression tool before uploading (If you have any problems please use me to get this right – images are critical – they are also critical to our page load speed).
GenerateBlocks Image
Aspect Ratio
Set 16:9 (cinematic – for video or video style) Single Coins should be 1:1
Forces design uniformity across thousands of coin posts.
Legacy Article Migration Protocol
When opening older, pre-existing articles on the site, you will encounter old, stock WordPress image blocks (core/image). We need to transition these over to our high-performance system.
How to Upgrade a Legacy Image Block:
Click the old block to open its floating toolbar.
Click the leftmost icon on the toolbar (the picture landscape icon representing the block type).
From the dropdown menu that appears, select GenerateBlocks Image.
Once converted, verify that the Aspect Ratio and Object Fit parameters in the sidebar panel match our standard 4:3 or 16:9 or 1:1 engineering layout rules.
If you need to float Right or Float left to wrap text around an image (This should mostly be float Right). Here’s how you do that. It’s a little tricker than before – but still easy. Just go to “Layout” and scroll down to “Floats” and choose right as seen here:
